Link Building Services That Report Every Single Placement
Contextual editorial backlinks on real sites with real traffic. No private blog networks, no directory blasts, and a live URL for every link we claim to have built.
Links Are Still the Hardest Ranking Factor to Fake
Every few years someone declares backlinks dead. They are not. In competitive commercial niches the correlation between referring domains and ranking position remains one of the strongest observable relationships in search, for a simple reason: on-page optimisation is free and everyone does it, so it cannot be a differentiator. Links cost time and money, which is exactly what makes them a useful signal.
What genuinely has changed is the floor. A decade ago a weak link helped a little. Today a weak link — a directory, a comment, a site with no organic traffic — does nothing at all. The distribution has become brutally uneven: a handful of good placements outperform hundreds of poor ones. Our guide to SEO backlinks covers how Google appears to weigh them.
How We Decide What to Target
We start from your SERP, not from a list. For the keyword you want, we pull the referring domains of every page currently ranking in the top ten, then find the sites linking to three or more of them. Those sites have already demonstrated willingness to link to businesses like yours, which makes them dramatically more gettable than cold prospects. The method is written up in how to find competitor backlinks.
Every prospect is then vetted on three things: does it have real organic traffic, does its topical history make a link to you plausible, and is its outbound link profile sane. Sites that exist only to sell links are obvious once you look, and we do not use them.
The Three Placement Types We Use
Guest posts — we write and place an article on a relevant site. Slower, but the link sits in content we control the framing of. Priced by referring domain rating on our guest post service page.
Niche edits — a link added to an existing, already-indexed article. Faster to place and often stronger, because the page already has its own authority and traffic. Pricing is on the niche edits page.
Digital PR — original data or research pitched to journalists. The highest ceiling by a wide margin, and the least predictable. Included in the Authority tier. Our digital PR guide explains what makes a story land.
How Many Links You Actually Need
Nobody can answer this without looking at your keyword. The number depends on how many referring domains the current top ten have and how strong they are. Sometimes the answer is four links; sometimes it is eighty and you should pick a different keyword first. We run that analysis before quoting — the method is in how many backlinks do I need, and real market pricing is in link building cost.
How We Build Links
The process is unglamorous and mostly manual. That is why it works.
Prospecting Built on Your SERP
We analyse the referring domains of the pages currently outranking you, then target the sites that link to several of them. Proven-gettable, proven-relevant.
Manual Outreach
Real emails written by people to real editors. No scraped-list blasts, which is why our placement rates are what they are.
Content That Earns the Link
Guest posts written to publishable standard, and data assets for digital PR that journalists actually want to cite.
Anchor Text Portfolio Management
A deliberate ratio of branded, partial-match, exact-match and naked URL anchors, tracked across your whole backlink profile.
Every Placement Vetted
Real organic traffic, relevant topical history, sane outbound link profile. We reject far more sites than we use.
Live URL Reporting
A monthly sheet with every live link, its referring domain rating, the target page and the anchor used. No “links built: 8” with no evidence.

Link Building Services: Common Questions
How much do link building services cost?
Our retainers start at $500 a month for 4 contextual links, $1,000 for 8, and $1,999 for 12 or more including digital PR. You can also buy placements individually through niche edits or guest posts if you do not want a retainer.
Do backlinks still work in 2026?
Yes. Links remain one of the strongest ranking signals Google uses, and the correlation between referring domains and rankings in competitive commercial niches has not meaningfully weakened. What has changed is that low-quality links do nothing at all rather than helping slightly.
What kind of links do you build?
Contextual editorial links inside relevant content — guest posts, niche edits on existing articles, digital PR placements and resource page links. We do not use private blog networks, comment links, directory blasts or any automated placement.
How many backlinks do I need to rank?
There is no universal number. It depends entirely on how many referring domains the pages currently ranking for your keyword have. We run that analysis before quoting so you get a real target rather than a guess. Our guide on how many backlinks you need walks through the method.
Are the links permanent?
Guest posts and digital PR placements are permanent by nature — they are editorial content on someone else’s site. Niche edits are placed in existing articles and are also permanent. We monitor every placement and replace anything that drops within 12 months at no charge.
Can link building get my site penalised?
Manual actions for unnatural links do still happen, almost always to sites using obviously manipulative tactics at scale. Editorial placements on real sites with real audiences carry very little risk. Our guide to bad backlinks covers what actually triggers problems.
Do you offer white label link building for agencies?
Yes. Agencies get reseller pricing, unbranded reporting and placements delivered under their own name. See our white label link building page for tier discounts.
